With our all-new, native Salesforce Pardot integration, you'll be able to make your webinar campaigns more effective and use this information to segment your prospects in Pardot via Lists.

Supported actions

  • Create and Update Prospect

  • Add Prospect to List

  • Save registrants' unique join links to custom fields

  • Pass any custom form field data upon registration

  • Record Prospect Activity - Pardot allows information from other systems to appear on the Pardot external activities. Each time someone registers/attends/misses an event, this info will be available in the prospect's timeline.

Billing address update ๐Ÿ“ซ

 

Improvement

  

We've made some changes to the Billing area that impacts new and existing customers based on their location:

  1. If you live in the United States: Demio now requires Country and Zip Code. State is automatically set based on Zip Code.

  2. In other countries, Demio only requires Country.

The other address fields remain optional.

โ€‹ This update effectively starts today, and you will need to edit your Billing Address and complete your profile.

We improved how attendees join sessions! ๐Ÿ’ป

 

Improvement

  

We just launched two improvements to how attendees join sessions on Demio.

First, we've added a formal queue system to manage attendees once attendance exceeds the room sizeโ€”we'll add new attendees to a queue where access will be granted as spots open up.

Additionally, admins will be notified once the room reaches capacity, along with a clear indication of how many attendees are in the queue.

Next, we've adjusted the room flow to show the Join Room anytime someone accesses their join link. This change ensures that only those who join the room will be added to the queue and allow us to auto-redirect attendees to the room once a session begins (previously, they would need to click Join once the session started before gaining access to the room).

โ€‹This change will mean attendees that join the session before it goes live will be in the room right as the session starts, ensuring they don't miss those first crucial moments.

Connect Demio with your HubSpot Account ๐Ÿš€

Now, you can connect Demio with your HubSpot account ๐ŸŽ‰

By connecting Demio and HubSpot, you can automatically send attendees' and registrants' data from Demio to HubSpot and use this information to segment your contacts in HubSpot.

  • Add Contact to List

  • Record Timeline Event - a HubSpot activity record will be created any time a person registers for a session or attends/misses a session (recorded once the session ends).

Track the source of your registrations in Demio! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

We've just added the ability for users to track the source of their registrations in Demio! This feature will allow you to monitor the performance of your registration campaigns and provide precise data about conversion and traffic sources. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Any time someone registers for one of your events, we'll automatically capture and store their registration source if it's available. We'll grab any UTM parameters accompanying the URL and a Referral URL if a specific website shares the registration link.

All source tracking data will be available within the People table found on your event's Activity tab.

As source tracking comes enabled across all registration pages and any values are captured automatically (as long as they're passed/detected), you can begin using standard UTM parameters in your URLs, and it'll start tracking your registrations.

Additionally, source tracking is supported across our embed form options as well.


This feature is available for Growth and Premium plans. We will still capture data for Starter plans but won't include it in the CSV report or the People table. Upgrading will retroactively unlock previously captured data.

Flexible Host Options! ๐Ÿ‘‘ (New Plans)

We've implemented changes to our subscription plans that'll allow you to easily add additional Hosts to your accountโ€”giving you much more flexibility within a single company account.

This change follows a previous update we madeโ€”the ability to easily add multiple team members, with granular control over which members occupy Host spots.

These two additions will help teams manage and consolidate multiple accounts into one, allowing all members within their organization to run events from a single account (with even more improvements planned for the future).

New Plan Changes

Our new plans will factor in the number of Hosts (in addition to the room size), starting at a minimum of one, and which you can increase/decrease as needed.

Our Growth plans offer up to 5 Hosts, with Premium providing for users that need even more (the Starter plan will remain capped at 1 Host).

We've also retired our Business plans in favor of offering additional room size options (500- and 1000-Attendee Room Sizes) at the Growth-level.

Note for Legacy Users

We'll be working closely to migrate all existing users to the new plans. This migration process will ensure that all users are moved to current plans, allowing them to receive future feature updates correctly and have access to add additional Hosts to their plan.

The vast majority of existing users will experience no disruption to their current subscription, as we'll be moving them to completely equivalent plans. For those that are affected, we'll be personally reaching out.

Support up to 6 people on Stage! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our team just updated the room layout for all Demio plans to support 6 stage spots (from the previous 4 spots)!

Expanding the stage size will provide you more flexibility on your events. You can now have up to 6 people on stage at the same time! ๐ŸŽ‰

Translucent Stage Cards, New Avatars, and More!

We've pushed a few small improvements: Translucent Stage Cards, New Avatars, and an Updated Session Status

Translucent Stage Cards

Based on some recent feedback, we've updated the stage cards within the room to use a translucent background when users aren't sharing their cameras. This change should provide a more branded appearance to the cards, allowing the background color to shine.

New Avatars

We've added new placeholder avatars for people who don't have a Gravatar associated with their email address. The new style opts for a more neutral look to ensure that it works well with any/all brand colors used for your events.

Note: You'll find the new placeholder avatar styles in the room, directly in the account (for event admins and team members), as well as on public registration/replay pages for featured presenters.

Updated Session Status

Finally, to add more clarity around sessions, we've improved the language around a session's statusโ€”precisely when the session has not started.

Any admins that join the room will find a "Not Started" status message in the Event Details button and within the helper text used across the room.

Up to 4 People on Stage (All Plans!)

While this was already the standard stage size for most plans, we needed to make a few key updates to our room architecture for 1000-attendee room sizes.

We're happy to stay that a stage size of 4 is now the standard across all plans (and all room sizes) on Demio.

Use a Custom Domain for All Public Pages! ๐ŸŒ

Add your own domain, or sub-domain, to Demio in order to provide an even more immersive brand experience for your audience. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Once connected, and set as the default, your domain will be used for all event pages (room, registration, recording, and more).

What about existing links?

We've made it simple to add a custom domain, while preserving all existing links (registration, join links, etc) that have already been shared. This way, you don't have to worry about any broken or dead links.

Any connected domains that are not set as default will automatically redirect to whatever domain is set as the current default.
